American Society for Reproductive Medicine Responds to White House Executive Order on Improving Women’s Health
On Monday, October 19, 2026, President Donald Trump signed an executive order creating a women's health division within the National Institutes of Health and a White House Women's Health Task Force.
Sean Tipton, Chief Advocacy and Policy Officer, American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) released the following statement in response:
“It is absolutely the case that more research is needed in order to support the health of women and girls throughout their lifetimes. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine applauds the administration’s interest in improving health outcomes, and we look forward to working together to ensure that the work ahead is guided by sound science and medical evidence.”
