ASRM Decries Latest Cuts at CDC
Statement attributable to Sean Tipton, Chief Advocacy and Policy Officer

Earlier this year, the team that worked on Assisted Reproductive Technologies at the CDC was eliminated. It now appears nearly every employee of the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) has been sidelined by political leadership at HHS. The OPA oversees critical public health programs ranging from teen pregnancy prevention to embryo donation. These cuts will have a detrimental impact on America’s reproductive health.
We are calling on Secretary Kennedy to immediately reverse these devastating cuts.”
