Demystifying the accuracy of PGT-A platforms: using validation data to inform clinical IVF practice

While preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A) is thought of as a single test, it is increasingly clear that PGT laboratory technologies and reporting practices can vary tremendously. In turn, mounting evidence demonstrates that differences in PGT-A platform capabilities and limitations directly impact IVF outcomes. Given the lack of PGT-A standardization and regulation, the burden of evaluating laboratory quality resides with IVF clinics yet is not a simple task. This webinar will examine the PGT laboratory perspective on best practices for PGT-A validation, and the experiences of clinicians in assessing laboratory accuracy and providing evidence-based counseling to patients undergoing PGT-A.
