ASRM Resident Education Program

WHAT IS IT?

ASRM is committed to facilitating and promoting education of reproductive health professionals at all levels. As part of this mission, the Society develops and coordinates educational activities for resident physicians in training in reproductive medicine. The program emphasizes the understanding of complex topics, the interaction with other disciplines, and the psychosocial sequelae and ethical concerns in human reproduction.

The Resident Education Program is a series of three lunchtime sessions (boxed lunch is provided for learners), each paired with topically-related symposium the same day. The lunchtime learning sessions are designed by experts in medical education to educate, engage, and interact with resident learners. Alumni of past programs report that this is was a valuable and fun learning experience due to the high faculty-to-learner ratio, diverse topics covered, and networking opportunities.
